UP govt committed to rapid development of the state: CM Yogi Adityanath

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that his government was committed to rapid development of the state and several steps have been taken in the last one year of his rule and more measures would follow soon.

Reviewing the performance of his government on the completion of one year in office at Shastri Bhawan in Lucknow on Wednesday, Yogi said that his government has implemented several welfare schemes for the poor and deprived sections and in the last 11 months, the state has been witness to rapid development.

The Chief Minister directed Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries and other officers in-charges of districts to visit the areas and organise `Samadhan Diwas’, `Thana Diwas’, `Tehsil Diwas’ etc to redress the problems of the local people and ensure a direct dialogue. He also directed them to analyse the performance of 108 and 102 ambulance services and check their locations for necessary action.

Yogi further said that senior officials should also visit Tehsil and Block offices and make physical verification of development works there. Similarly, he asked District Magistrate and SSP / SPs to attend their offices from 10am daily and listen to peoples’ grievances and redress them.

The CM said that during summers numerous cases of fire incident were reported and so necessary steps be taken to deploy fire tenders so that immediate help could be extended. He also told officers to ensure smooth power supply during summers and replace faulty transformers at earliest.

Yogi also said officers concerned should interact with Union counterparts for smooth implementation of development projects funded by the Centre so that grants could be released at the earliest and work could be completed.
